A few days ago the Blue Sfear Graphics Worm, hit a milestone by reaching 100 images long. The worm is a community project at my largest site, Bluesfear.com, that has been been going on for over a year now and is basically a really really long image made up of smaller images. Each person that adds an image has to blend from the previous image.
Our next big milestone is to reach 100ft in length, right now its close to 70ft. I would love to get this 1 mile long, but thats going to take years, which is ok, because I plan on running this site forever.

Just a little update on what I’m doing. Right now I’ve hired someone to write a cheat script to use on my Wii domains, Wiicheats.com, Wiicheatcodes.com, ect. I want to have a cheat site up within a month, that way by the time Wii actually comes out, my domains will have been around for 6 months compared to brand new sites which will probably have no PR and might be sandboxed by google. I figured I’d get a nice head start, plus most of these domains are already getting traffic, so why not put up a site.
Well were about a week into June and my earnings have plumetted. It seems that what started in May has continued in June, earnings have dropped off about 40% compared to the first week of May. This is an across the board drop, Adsense, YPN, and Intelli all have dropped heavily. TribalFusion is the only exception although it has also dropped about 10%.
Traffic on the other hand is about the same, maybe a little lower, but nothing that should effect earnings like they are. Again I think its just that time of the year with summer upon us and advertisers not spending as much as they did. Anyone else experiencing huge drops in earnings?
Summer has definitly taken its toll on me in the last 2 weeks, I’ve barely done any work on any of the sites, apart for reskinning one of my forums which is only about 90% complete. I really need to finish that. I’ve been slacking heavily in the marketing and advertising departments. The fact that I have a summer house down at the shore isn’t helping either, the next 2 weekends Im going to be down there. So I really need to do some hardcore work between today and tomorrow.
On another note, I have been planning a HUGE project which I’m hiring someone else to build. Its going to cost mid $xxxx amount. Its going to be a community social site along the lines of Myspace, thats all I’ll say for now. Right now I am writting up the proposal and features of the site. I have few developers that have provided quotes and are awaiting this proposal to provide me with a more accurate quote. Then I’ll select one and it should be done within 1-2 months. I will be saving all the money I make from now till then to pay for it plus I’m going to spend a lot on advertising once it launches.

Well it was a mixed month. Traffic really exploded on a few sites, expecially LostShow.com and Halothemovie.org. Lost because it was the season finale, so that should drop ALOT this month. Although traffic increased, earnings actually decreases which is very disappointing. I made a larger profit this month only because I spend very little on advertising compared to last month, but earnings were down about 10% which sucks because traffic was up 16%. The only thing I can think of is that its the start of summer and advertisers are spending less. Im pretty disappointed, I was hoping to break above $2000 this month.
We’ll see what happens next month.
